Rovers faced newly promoted Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday; a game that ended goalless in front of above 3,000 visiting supporters. The game was Rovers’ first at home this pre-season, having played away at Cleethorpes, Grimsby, Bradford Park Avenue and Rotherham already.
So far in pre-season, Doncaster Rovers have won two, drawn two and lost one.
Who are Hull City?
Hull City, or the ‘Tigers’, were formed in 1904. Their first game saw them draw 2-2 with Notts County.
Up until recently, Hull was the biggest city in England to never have a team in the top flight of football. City were promoted in 2008 and spent 2 years in the Premier League.
It is widely reported that Doncaster Rovers are on the brink of signing several players this week, so there may be new faces in the squad for the game on Tuesday night.
