James Hayter Joins Yeovil

James Hayter has agreed to leave Doncaster Rovers on completion of his current contract.

Signed from Bournemouth in 2007, Hayter made 165 appearances for Rovers and scored 34 goals. The striker gave 100% in every appearance and became a fans favourite quickly.

His status was upgraded to ‘Legend’ by many following the League One Play-Off Final against Leeds at Wembley when he scored the winning goal.

Since the departure of Sean O’Driscoll, Hayter has struggled to make an impact in the first team despite publicly backing the club’s transfer experiment.

We would like to thank James for his services at Doncaster Rovers, and wish him all the best at Yeovil.
