Rovers will look to continue their positive pre-season run against Rotherham on Tuesday night.
The sides last met in January 2007, when the ‘Millers’ visited the Keepmoat. A goal from Richie Partridge gave the visitors the lead after 10 minutes before PAUL HEFFERNAN levelled the scores. GRAEME LEE made it 2-1 to Rovers and HEFFERNAN scored again to make it 3-1.
Martin Woods gave Rotherham a lift but they failed to score a third.
Who are Rotherham United?
Founded in 1870 as Thornhill FC, the side became Rotherham United when they merged with Rotherham Town. Currently managed by Steve Evans, Rotherham compete in the Football League Two but will be looking to win promotion this year.
This year sees the Rotherham side move into their brand new New York Stadium after spending the last few seasons at the Don Valley Stadium in Sheffield.
The ‘Millers’ played their first game at their new stadium at the weekend, beating Barnsley 2-1.
Doncaster Rovers have no new injury concerns ahead of the game. George Friend is currently in talks with Middlesbrough after the two clubs agreed a fee and is therefore unlikely to feature.
