Chimbonda signs

Dean Saunders has acted to boost the Rovers’ defense, due to the injury of Tommy Spurr.

He has used his sources to bring in former Tottenham and Blackburn defender, Pascal Chimbonda. Chimbonda has signed a deal that keeps him at the club until at least January, providing he passes a medical at the club and is granted clearance by the league.

Chimbonda began his career at French side, Le Havre before moving to S.C. Bastia. From here, he moved to Wigan where he spent one year before moving on to Spurs, Sunderland, Blackburn and QPR.

During his career, the 32 year old has made 304 appearances and has scored 15 goals.

Chimbonda will wear the number 31 shirt during his stay with Doncaster Rovers.

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome Pascal to the club, and wish him luck throughout his stay.
