Much a Diouf about nothing?

Today it was revealed that the club have held tentative talks with El-Hadji Diouf. The former Blackburn and Rangers player has quite a reputation in the game for being rather a hand full. Incidents include spitting, a foul mouth and a bad temperament.

Diouf made his first impact in English football with Liverpool after a move from Lens. He made 80 appearances scoring 6 goals for the Liverpool side. Since then Diouf has played for Bolton, Sunderland, Blackburn and Rangers. In 378 career appearances he has managed 51 goals.

This must play a massive factor as the Rovers have such a good squad dynamic, however we can’t ignore his ability as a footballer. He obviously has technical ability and would bring quality and experience from the highest level.
